The Physio Refresh Program – CoRe consists of self-directed learning across five modules: Musculoskeletal, Neurology, Cardiorespiratory, Other Systems, and Professional Practice & Transition to Practice. The Physio Refresh Essentials Program runs over 8 weeks in total.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
Access to an Online Curriculum:
- Over 50 clinical skills videos featuring key examinable components of the National Exam;
- 23 Virtual patient Cases (interactive multimedia presentations of complex cases);
- Practice and Final exams, which include 40 MCQs and 4 Oral Stations
- A discussion board which provides a connection with peers in the program.
In-person events:
- Two practice OSCEs (Objective Structured Clinical Exams) will be held at UBC
- Individual feedback on performance is provided
- One clinical lab workshop weekend will be held at UBC
- Covers Musculoskeletal, Neurological, Cardiovascular-respiratory and Professional Practice areas
Virtual synchronous events:
- Six weekly online workshops
- Developed to review key content and practice exam questions.
- Two Transition to Practice workshops

The Physio Refresh program has been adapted to align with the delivery of the new Clinical Physiotherapy Examination (CPTE).
Online Curriculum + Virtual Sessions + In-person events: $4,000.00
- Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration.
- Fees may be paid online by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

- There are NO refunds for participant cancellations.

It is recommended that candidates review the Clinical Physiotherapy Examination (CPTE) details to ensure they are eligible to attend the exam before registering for the program.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To be able to attend the clinical placement, registrants must apply and be admitted as Unclassified Students at UBC in order to enroll in the academic credit placement course (PHTH 574). For more information, please visit the Admission Requirements for Unclassified Students
Online Content Access Policy
Participants are granted access to online content for a total period of up to six (6) months, within one year from the date of access activation. Requests for access pauses/extensions will only be granted within these parameters. By enrolling in the program, participants acknowledge and agree to this policy.
